  • Really fun concept; I enjoyed that mechanic a lot. What was the most joy-inducing was finding out that the monsters are the friends! I understand that you explained this in the write-up, but it maybe should have been in the game somehow too... I was confused about that for a while. Looks like you procedurally generated the map? That's a good way to drive up engagement because it's replayable. I fell off the map a couple times though. I was running around looking for other friends for a while, was fun "aha" moment when I figured it out. I do think the map needed more intrigue; maybe some obstacles the monsters can't go through like mountains so you must path-find a little more intricately.

Gameplay Instructions
Direct the monster to the Gates of Heaven! Avoid people's houses.
WASD movement, Shift to sprint, space to jump.
The monster will sing a song with a cooresponding color pattern, cycle using scroll so your radio sphere color/note matches the monsters. Right click to place a beacon the monster will follow, but once it reaches the first note in a beacon it will need the second one to follow!

There are two monsters, be careful not to lure the second one accidentally into the houses while trying to lure the first!

Victory is when one monster makes it through a gate.

Wow very interesting mechanics and aesthetic! I really like how you hold up the instructions and the radio. Definitely a unique take on the theme. Good job!
