Notes 1) This game really does need a better tutorial. I basically had to spend about 20 minutes or so stumbling through the game and multiple game overs in order to crack the combat system. 2) I still don't like the dialogue between Wanda and her aunt. It just feels completely out of place for her aunt to start deriding her by referring to her niece as a "girl". Seriously, you'd think someone related to royalty would be a bit more careful and measured with their words. After all, I imagine being the sister to the queen of the fairies would be a title that carries some weight. And, if it doesn't the game really should elaborate on fey politics over the course of the game. 3) The game is really bereft dialogue. As such, it's hard to piece together the plot beyond the most basic elements. And to make matters worse it's hard to piece together what kind of person Wanda is. As such, it's really hard to get invested in her plight. 4) Though, once you understand the basics of combat in this game its pretty easy. And, I'll admit that the wind element (diamonds) in particular is easy to exploit. After all, the ability to give yourself additional action points means you can set yourself up to cast powerful spells for both offense and support. 5) The mapping in this game ranges from "meh" to unappealing. Though your mileage may vary in this category. 6) This game really would have benefited from more enemy variety. Since each of the elemental planes only contain one regular enemy unit and a boss monster. Seriously, go wild and throw giant fish in the water plane or add giant fiery birds of death in the fire plane. 7) The character on the opening title screen looks lifeless.

This was quite a bit of fun. The battle system is very ambitious and even though the tutorial was a ton of information all at once that was hard to take in, the particulars of the combat became clearer after some experimentation. The story was very thin but the environments were suitably otherworldly looking. I would have enjoyed playing more but I suspect the time limit caught up to you. Nice work.
