While the combat system wasn't bad, there is almost no point in not just boosting your damage so that you can one shot everything, making healing mostly unnecessary. In fact, it is better to one shot the enemies as once the enemy numbers get low enough, you can't tell the difference between sword and arrow and with one enemy left, there is no formation to observe.

The random movement can be frustrating as it can potentially lead to being stuck if your luck is bad enough (Part of why you basically want to only raise sword and bow and then lance with whatever you have left). This of course makes the battles tedious. In addition the slow movement of the game does not help with making it less tedious. This goes for boss battles as well, which are just a constant series of color memorization (and hope you can tell which color is which once you hit the final boss since he doesn't visually show you if you can't see colors!)

The Great Waterfall map/minimap is wrong, minimap seems to be from a different area and map doesn't give you a choice at the fork. At times, the dice will give you a different number than the amount you actually move. The minimap is not toggled, it displays the minimap, but in order to do anything else, including 'toggling' the minimap, you have to close the minimap. Also, please make it easier to exit the game.

The story is standard to the point that it was extremely predictable. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but leaves little to really flesh out the game except for the battles which become fairly tedious. Fortunately, the graphics were simple without too much fluff, but they were also not used to the fullest.

Quite a bit needs to be fixed and a lot of considerations need to be 'maid'. Ok, bad joke, but seriously, the game leaves a lot of stuff up in the air and quite a bit of the game can be fixed. A lot of questions need to be answered as well as it almost seems like a part of the story relies on a deus ex machina, except absurdly predictable.

Ah I really enjoyed this game. The dialogue was really good. I really like it! The graphics worked really well with the setting. The gameplay was good too. I tried v.1.0c first and I thought the moving in the map was really slow but now with d version it's a lot faster. But the banner disappeared in my game? o.o I don't know if it's because I used the saves from the other version or something.
The battles with me are a miss tho. xD I can rarely guess the next attack by the enemy formation. The 'boss' battle with the mage was really cool. I loved that one. Tho I missed the first time a lvl 2 spell was available because I didn't realize I had to memorize the spell! >_<
Overall: It was a really good game. I'm really liking the story a lot. ;)
