Very high effort and lots of fun to be had. Great job!

How was implementing the quest system? I haven't created one yet :)

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing! This was my first time creating something like a quest system it was hella fun, I wanted to make quests reward the player with points but I just didn't have enough quests so I kind-of dropped the idea. Maybe you should try adding one to your next game too it's not that hard!

Really liked the idea platforming to get stuff out of reach across a school. Had to restart a couple of times after things fell through the floor but I did finish it. AI System is awesome especially for game jam. The only thing I really craved was over the shoulder camera, makes it easier to see what I'm looking at. Otherwise, a really tight clever game! Congrats!

Developer

Yeah I just couldn't figure out what caused the things falling through the floor bug 😭About the camera, I was using Godot 4, apparently Godot 3 had something called a Clipped Camera but they removed it for some reason in Godot 4 and I just didn't bother to implement it myself and assumed the x-ray vision bug as a feature (lmao 💀). Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback! Appreciate it!

Nice game and well made too, but still I wasn't able to reach that bottle lol (my gaming skills go brrr). Good job!

The controls were great, I loved the graphics and the music fit well. Only feedback I have has already been given, for as good of a game as it is, I had troubles finding things at first. But I liked it all the same and it was fun exploring. Also wish the other students said more than one thing only because of how many times I ran into them XD LOL Good job!

Thanks so much for playing! I completely agree with your feedback. I should have added something to highlight important objects or included some form of a minimap. And I definitely should have had more voice lines for the NPCs, haha. Thanks once again for the feedback!

Good idea, the only criticism I have is too maybe add a compass or mini-map, and too highlight objects.

Developer

Hmm I agree, adding a minimap and highlighting the important items would be really nice, thanks for the feedback!

I agree, I think it's a bit hard maybe I should have added an easy mode. Thanks for the comment, I'll try out your game!
