The rain is the easy one to change ,in theory , but i have understood to late (because it's far more hard to do it with the smoke), maybe i will change that in 4 days. In Unity you can choose "simulation space"=>"custom" but yes in my case the solution is a little tricky (coding).
The expanding area is not the solution, in the Jam prototype the area was shorter, expanding spawning area didn't really solve the problem, i have a solution that will come later. When the player doesn't cheat he doesn't see level 2 and 3 (me i can, even if i am not good, but it's my game), i will need to improve that two things.
The snow effect was even more ugly than the rain effect :) .
I deactivated the lights of the trains too, it was not that bad but i think that the lights was not supposed to move, the lights was clipping. However, it really worth to keep that for later. In the full night it's cool.
The rain can extinguish the flames it's a totally useless feature but...

I will do a big final level with a very cool music that worth to be discovered (Music in the stranger thing vibe). It will be the story mode.
I already played your previous version of the game some days ago, I am in the beginner circle discord. I will be busy during 4 days, but i will try it again later. I am a fan of the "lost Vikings " games.
