Description
Not very familiar with ambient composition so I mostly just winged it and did whatever.
Inspiration is from the art of the Anime “Made in Abyss” 5th layer (not the soundtrack) along with the image given in the jam

If anyone can guess the languages the singer is singing in then…I don’t know, I’ll give you a thumbs up.

This got me such a late-ps1/early ps2 RPG vibe, really nostalgic. Great job

I'm getting Square Enix and .hack// vibes from this track, very nicely done!

At first, I thought I had opened FF14—wonderful track!  Also can't figure out the language, it almost sounds like a bunch of languages together, like at some parts it sounded Japanese, Chinese, Italian, and Simlish(??)

Developer

Some writing technique were from Final Fantasy and Nier Automata (though I never played the game before).

You guessed Japanese and Chinese correctly and that they're 4 languages that the singer is singing in.

The composition is nice. The way the piece evolves is cool.

Constructive feedback:

Piano sounds very midi. Everything sounds like it's at the same position in space in terms of distance. Nothing is particularly close. The dynamics are still kind of midi mechanical, except the vocals.

I don't know what language the singer is singing! Lol.

Great work overall!

Love the melody! When the latter part with singing started I got big Nier feels, good job!

What a beautiful start of the composition. Lovely transition around 1 minute. The whole composition is very cinematic and well executed. The only thing I can suggest to improve is the placement of vocals in the second part, feels like it either should be farther from the listener or on contrast closer and with less reverb around it.
You did a great job on it, congratulations!
