I feel as though I'm missing some sort of important symbolism here but this game felt so. Bleak? It was a visually and auditory wise gorgeous experience but the language sometimes felt a little too purple and any messages were mostly just lost on me. I'm certainly excited to play more games by the dev but this experience wasn't my favourite. It has this pessimistic overview to love that didn't seem any more optimistic in the "true good ending" and that just felt off and strange to me. Maybe if I went in expecting more of a horror game than I was I would've enjoyed it more, but considering I found it under a romance tag it fell flat for me. I can certainly see why other people loved/love the experience though.
