to create such interesting characters living in such an intriguing world, and to do that effectively, only to then shoot yourself in the foot by draining everything down the sink, and to do THAT effectively, is really quite something special. Deepwell successfully shifts the spotlight away from itself and onto the player, and by being so openly honest and critical about its fundamentally flawed design, it invites the player to do the same for themselves.
my favorite part about Deepwell is its seemingly never-ending mystery. i can't shake off the feeling that there's something-- no, there's *definitely* something that i missed, and because of it, i can't help but go back in the game and look for more. in a way, i'm like a citizen of the town now as i'm lured in by its giant mystery. i've only ever reached the (BIG GREEN THING) ending, and if there's something i've overlooked, or if i'm missing the bigger picture, then please forgive me.
anyway, really good game! i'm excited to see more from you. thank you so much for making this! xoxo
