A game jam for games that fall under the category of interactive fiction, including visual novels, point-and-click adventures, text-based adventures and more. Make sure to follow the rules and have fun!

Rules:

• Games must contain credit to the creators of any 3rd party content used.
• Games must contain content warnings for things such as flashing lights, loud noises, gore, NSFW, etc.
• Your game must be playable on Windows.
• No new files can be uploaded to your game’s page for the rest of the jam once it is submitted.
• Working in teams is allowed.
• Only one submission is allowed per person or team.
• Your game and all assets (except 3rd party) must be created during the jam, not before, but planning and team creation before the jam starts is ok.
• Your game must follow the theme.
• Seriously, have fun, we want you to enjoy the process of making your game.

Theme:

Halloween and/or random events! Is it a kid in a spooky costume you’re talking to? Or this time, is it a real ghost? Very spooky!

Rating Criteria:

• Accessibility: How accessible was the game for people with reduced site and/or hearing?
• Fun: How enjoyable was your experience playing the game?
• Originality: How original were the ideas used in the game?
• Polish: How polished do you feel the game was?
