Welcome to "IT... COULD... WORK" halloween game Jam

In this exciting game jam, you have the opportunity to create a game within the span of just one month!

Game jams offer an enjoyable means to push your creative boundaries, connect with fellow developers, and engage in discussions about your games and their evolution. Of course, the most rewarding aspect is that by the end, you'll have successfully crafted a game to share with friends, family, and your fellow developers Our sole Rule  is that your game should be free from NSFW, offensive, or discriminatory content. We want the games to be enjoyable for all!

Feel free to utilize any game engine or framework of your choice. 

While it's not mandatory to create all game assets from scratch, we highly encourage it! Moreover, you can incorporate assets that weren't created by you, provided you possess the appropriate licenses for their use and remember to credit the creators.

Collaboration and teamwork are not only permitted but also encouraged! 

Once you've submitted your game, it will be evaluated by fellow participants, and you'll also have the chance to cast your votes for other games.

The Theme

The theme for this game jam is of course Halloween.  make a game inspired by classic horror movies, comic books or novels  and make players jump out of their seat.

The games will be rated in 6 categories:

• Gameplay
• Spookyness
• Original game graphics
• Original game audio
• Theme

Don't fret if you can't nail every aspect perfectly! Embrace your creativity and stay true to the theme!

Following the conclusion of the submission period, you'll have a two-week window to evaluate the games.

The victors, determined by the highest overall scores in all categories, will be celebrated as the "true champions." They'll receive a prominent shoutout on the jam page.

 However, don't let the absence of victory dishearten you! Remember, it's a game jam, and participation is what truly matters!
