How to Participate

Create a custom scenario or a series of scenarios using the given theme and object.
Upload your submission in a single ZIP file directly to itch.io before the deadline.
Play and Vote on other submissions during the voting period.
Engage with the community by providing constructive feedback.

Submission Guidelines

Original Work: Submissions must be your own original creations developed during the jam period!
Format: Upload your scenario files in a compressed format (e.g., .zip) including all scenario files (*.mythscn). This can also be a full mod containing campaign.
Title and Description: Provide a clear title and a brief description of your scenario.
Instructions: Include any specific instructions or requirements needed to play your scenario.
Naming: Add JOM to the begging of each scenario file + your team name. (e.g. JOM_TeamAlpha_00.mythscn, JOM_TeamAlpha_01.mythscn....)
Numbering: If you are uploading several files then make sure to number your scenario files sequentially.

Deadline: All submissions must be uploaded by 19:00 (CEST) 15. 11. 2024

Voting and Rating

After the submission period ends, participants can play and rate each other's scenarios based on the following criteria:

Rules and Regulations

Theme and Object Usage: Both must be integral to your scenario.
Content Guidelines: Submissions should be appropriate for all audiences. Avoid offensive or inappropriate content.
Team Submissions: Teams are allowed. Please credit all team members.
Multiple Entries: You're welcome to submit more than one entry, but quality over quantity is encouraged.
Existing Assets: Using pre-made assets is allowed, but the core scenario must be created during the jam.

Prizes and Recognition

While the primary goal is to have fun and be creative, top 3 rated submissions will receive a reward:

5-10 teams -> 10$ steam gift card for the winning team
10-15 teams -> 25$ steam gift card for the winning team, 10$ for the second place
20+ teams -> 50$ steam gift card for the winning team, 25$ for the second place, 10$ for the third place

Do I need to be an experienced modder or designer to participate?
- No! All skill levels are welcome. This jam is a great opportunity to learn and improve.
Can I collaborate with others?
- Yes, teamwork is encouraged. Just make sure to credit all contributors.
Are there any restrictions on the tools I can use?
- You can use any tools compatible with Age of Mythology Retold to create your scenario.
