Hello, Cool game I do have a few qualms with it though.
aiming is difficult and the knockback feels like its not under control. The knockback is also inconsistent, sometimes it wont move me at all and other times it will shoot me off the edge instantly.
What I would recommend is that you add an effect when you shoot the gun to make it feel more like its the knockback moving you.
And for the movement I presume you just added or multiplied the velocity, there isn't much I can say for now, I just suggest that you keep learning more techniques and have fun.
hi, thanks for taking time and playing game, even leaving a review! the knockback force depends on amount of bullets you have: each one is half of the player's mass. i believe not having a tutorial included was quite a mistake, glad you found out how to shoot, i seriously thought the game will be unplayable...
