Attention, all game developers! Ready to collaborate, create, and craft the juiciest game ever? This jam is all about making your game feel alive—from smooth animations to satisfying sounds, it’s time to focus on JUICE.
The theme will be announced at the start of the jam, so get ready to think outside the box. Don’t worry if you’re not sure what juice means yet—just know we’re looking for games that feel incredible to play. Screenshake, particle effects, hitstop—everything that makes your game feel dynamic and rewarding. We want the juice to flow! 🍊
One of the best parts of this jam is the collaboration. Whether you’re a programmer, artist, sound designer, or storyteller, come together and make something amazing. Team up, learn from one another, and create a game that stands out in both feel and fun. We very highly encourage mob programming and all forms of collaboration. Working solo? No problem! You’re welcome to join as an individual too.
Don’t miss out on our Discord server where you can find teammates, share your progress, get feedback, and more! Join the conversation and connect with other creators. This is required to receive the prize as I will be relying on DMs on there - https://discord.gg/Aw5eyPrzFJ

I will be playing most submissions live on Twitch, potentially joined by a few friends. During the stream, I’ll spend around 10 minutes per game, though I may choose to play certain entries longer at my discretion. After the stream, I’ll review any linked GitHub repositories or supplementary materials to better understand your game’s design, mechanics, and code.
The jam starts on March 1st, and the final submissions are due by March 9th. Don’t wait until the last minute—start brainstorming early and make something incredible!
NOTE: This is my first ever hosted gamejam. I anticipate some bumps along the way. Can't wait to start this journey with you all.
I’m a Full-Stack Engineer with over 8 years of professional experience. I have a deep passion for game development and have published games on Steam as well as participated in several game jams on itch.io. I also teach collaborative coding, Godot, and a variety of other topics in my Discord community. On Mondays, I stream on Twitch, collaborating while making a platformer for a local company. I’m excited to bring this jam to life and can’t wait to see the incredible games you’ll all create!
