This game is Awesome! The sound design was very good and the gameplay was amazing :D I cannot believe this was a game made for a Jam as it was so polished!
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it (:
This is just a good game. period. Also, you have the biggest-brain-interpretation of the clip object I have seen all jam, it genuinely made me go "huh, this is smooth as heck"
I enjoyed going about my business in the world and gambling was fun as well, the only things I found problematic was the pacing towards the end because by that point I had basically done everything there is to the game and with the factory being closed on the weekend, I literally just slept for 16 hours because I didn't wanna risk gambling my money away. Following the end of the 7 days, I also wondered if there are different endings because I didn't manage to get different texts regardless of performance. But those are minor nitpicks.
Overall, this game is super clean and style-aware, the writing was pleasant and I'd absolutely play more of it
(Just as a side note, be aware of other keyboard layouts, there isn't a dedicated ? key on qwertz keyboards lmao)

Wow, thank you for giving the project a try and for your kind words. I am really happy with how this project turned out and I am glad to see others are enjoying it as well.
I definitely agree with you on the pacing issues near the end of the game. The idea was to have work closed on the weekend to try and lead the player into taking more risks with robberies/the casino, but there were really no ending activities for those who wanted to have a more "safe" playstyle. This is definitely one of the things that stands out to me that could be improved with the project.
Thanks so much for your feedback! I find all of it to be valuable (:
Thanks for playing my game, and I had a great time playing yours! I think you REALLY nailed the mood and aesthetic. I can tell you put a lot of care into interface things like fading in.
I felt like I was directed pretty well towards what I should be doing, without being told specifically what I should do ... like casing houses and finding the times to rob them. I haven't won yet but I'll be coming back to play more soon.
I would suggest making some of your font sizes different -- there is a lot of the same sized white text on the screen and it took a while for me to understand the priority of that information when playing, and realize I could move my choices around.
Also, I really liked the music choice .. it kind of reminded me of the show "Twin Peaks" for some reason. Also, I LOVE playing the Blackjack mini game. I think I haven't won so far because I waste money at the casino because it's fun.
Great job!
Thanks for playing! I'm glad the concept of casing houses was interesting - one of my favorite parts of this project was designing the unique schedules for each of the homes. The music was made specifically for this jam as well and I'm really happy with how it matches the theme of the game. A soundcloud link with the track will be added to the game page soon. I really appreciate your feedback! (:
gud game :)
