How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object ?
There are many ways that the maze is trying to kill you (Death is inevitable). There are boxes of randomness spawned in random places all through the maze. They spawn random items when the player touches them. Some of these will cause death! Some are more helpful.

Funky Skeleton needs some time out. He won't stop messing with me even after I beat the game. Funky skeleton 😭
anyway. I think the coliders stay there even after you've collected a box, because the animation plays every time you run across the spot. Otherwise quite cleanly made game. 👍
