  • This game had some nice artwork that all matched and the inspiration from Windwaker which was an added bonus. However, the connection to the theme felt like a bit of a stretch here, as often you can easily walk to other rafts. The gameplay itself was basic, with very little indication of the aim of the game. The sharks also had some issues with glitching. Overall, for this game to have commercial potential it would need an overhaul, with focus being on creating proper mechanics.
  • I like the idea of leaping from raft to raft trying to avoid killer sharks, perhaps as a mini-game in a party game pack. However, I found the controls very challenging and it took me many, many attempts to successfully land my first jump! The presentation felt a little generic, and didn't really communicate the comedic aspect I assume was intended. Moving platforms are very difficult to navigate in 3D unless you have super-tight platforming controls and a great camera system, which takes a lot of work and refinement, so I can appreciate the challenges the team must have had working in a short time period.
  • This feels like a game you would participate in in Mario Party! I would recommend adding allowing players to swim around and climb on to a raft, and have the only lose state being hit by a shark. This game would be great in multiplayer!
  • Nice start to the game. It is strongly connected to the theme of the game jam and is a super fun concept. Unfortunately, at this early stage the controls did not allow me to continue the level, but the intentions of the game were clear.
  • I can see what this game was trying to achieve, and I think that the idea you had in mind does have potential. Unfortunately, the game in its current state is very difficult to play! Not being able to change direction in midair makes timing jumps very difficult. This, combined with the fact that there is no warning as to which raft is going to break when two collide, make it very difficult to score anything even in double digits. If rafts visually became more broken on consecutive collisions (along with not breaking on a single hit) would give the player more information to work with when deciding which rafts to jump to. The sharks also seemed to be having a tough time, as in my playthroughs they span around in circles and didn't offer any threat towards the player. From the description of the game, where they leap out of the water and provide tension when the player is jumping up into their jumping arcs, it would be fun to play this game when this is fixed! The music was catchy, and I'd like to see more sound effects added to the different actions in the game! Good job on taking part in the jam and getting this submitted!

Good start. I included it in my Jamfuser compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
