Jampus is a casual, end of year jam with a twist on the prompt- It's a secret Santa jam with individualized prompts. Sign up early, submit a prompt of your own and get one at random submitted by another participant! Make games for your fellow community members! Wrack your designer brains in an attempt to fulfill the the true potential of these prompts! Games will be streamed one week after the jam ends on December 22nd over on the Indie City Games Twitch channel, followed by community Webfishing.

To submit a prompt (to be sent to another jam team) please use this form before the jam start time! If you only want to receive a prompt and don't want to submit one, you can still use the form to ensure that you get sent a unique prompt at jam start. There will be additional prompts as supplied by our ko-fi supporters for anyone joining after the jam start time!

This jam is also sponsored by GX.gamesFirst place in community voting will receive GameMaker Pro licenses and a GX.games feature on the site's front page! To qualify for prizes, submitted games must be  submitted and published on GX.games- make sure to tag it with Jampus24, and should also fill out thJam Entry

PLEASE NOTE that GX.games currently only supports games made in Unity, GameMaker, and Godot. 

Team size is limited to four people for this jam.

Schedule:

  • December 5th - Deadline to submit prompts!
  • December 6th, 12:00 pm CST - Jam Starts, kickoff stream on the Indie City Games Twitch
  • December 15th, 11:59 pm CST - Jam entry deadline
  • December 22nd, 7:00 pm CST - Jam entries streamed on the Indie City Games Twitch (Webfishing after)

  • Developers hold all rights to the games they make.
  • Developers grant Indie City Games the permission to use their game's name, screenshots, and video footage in promotional materials for Indie City Games and future events.
  • Indie City Games reserves the right to not display and / or remove any uploaded games if the game content is broken, offensive or unsuitable as determined by Indie City Games’ sole discretion. This includes but is not limited to: games with harmful or prejudicial themes related to gender, sexual orientation, age, ability, appearance, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship, socioeconomic status, or religion. Indie City Games reserves the right to disqualify any entry from prize qualification for any reason.
