IT'S BACK! Allow us to introduce Jingle Game Jam 2024 hosted by Yogscast Games. This year, we're running a 7-day jam from December 1st 17:00 GMT to December 8th 23:59 GMT! We will review all entries and choose a selection of games to be played live on The Yogscast Jingle Jam stream DATE TO BE CONFIRMED as part of our Jingle Jam charity drive!

AWARDS

In a change from previous years, we'll be choosing our favourites based on a selection of categories. These are:

  • Best use of theme - The game we thought that integrated the theme into the gameplay the best
  • Best visual design - The game we thought had the most unique and visually appealing design
  • Best gameplay - The game we thought had the best gameplay experience
  • Panel picks - During the stream the panelists will get to choose their favourite to win an award

Winning submissions will receive their choice of keys from the Yogscast Games catalogue. Alongside this entries will receive a digital rosette to proudly display on their games itch page. 


SUBMISSION RULES

  • Anyone can enter - you can work alone or in a team
  • Your game must run on Windows or in a browser
  • Your game must be based on the theme (to be revealed December 1st 17:00 GMT)
  • No NSFW content - no nudity, hateful language, or visuals
  • No AI-Generated Content
  • All aspects of the game development must take place within the duration of the jam (You're welcome to use any existing assets you may own, 3D models, tilesets, etc - the coding / game creation itself must take place within the 7 days)
  • We reserve the right to remove any spam entries, or entries we believe break the submission rules
