Welcome to the RTP Only Game Jam.  It is a simple game jam, with simple rules.

THEME: In Search for a Miracle  GENRE: Fantasy 

VOTING: The voting will be calculated according to a formula. 30% weight of the vote calculation will come from the public.  70% weight of the vote calculation will come from the judge team.  This means that the results that you see posted by itch.io are 30% of the calculations, and may not represent the actually placements.  VOTING CRITERIA: Creativity, Enjoyability, and Lack of 'Bugs'.

RULES:

1. The game must be made using RPG Maker game engines.

2. The games must be made during the game jam.  An unknown theme, will help deter developers from starting early or submitting a previously made game.

3. Only the RTP assets that came with the RPG Maker game engine may be used.  They may not be edited.  This does include title screens.

4. DLCs may not be used.

5. Deactivate plugins, if using an RPG Maker game engine that can use plugins.  Plugins may not be used.

6. The actually scripting of the RPG Maker game engines may not be modified nor portions deleted.  An example is that some people delete a line from the MV engine that stops the blinking of the location where a mouse is clicked on.  Some people know how to modify the scripting in VX Ace and earlier versions.  This is also not allowed.  Scripts are not allowed.

7. Profanity/vulgar language is not allowed.

8. Only one submission per developer.

9. Judge(s) excluded from game jam submission.

10. Theme is to be followed.  If you have a creative interpretation of the theme, ask MinisterJay if it will be allowed.

11. Scriptcalling is not allowed.

12. Use the RTP that comes with your specific version.  Do not use RTP assets from one version in another version.

13. Sci-Fi and Modern images and music are not allowed.  

14. Use Windows deployment option. 

15. There must be at least 30 minutes play time.

16. Original RTP files may be cut and pasted into another Original RTP folder. Battlebacks may be used for Title Screens.  Battlers may be used for Pictures.  There are other possibilities.

16. Future rules may be added, within the next few days.

Prizes:
