It's the middle of Fall, it's getting chilly. What better time for comfy lewd games?
You have the entire month of November to make a lewd furry game, and then one week to vote on everyone else's games.
Your game doesn't have to be classically horny - feel free to get stealthy!
Feel free to join in on the jam community or on Discord, where you can share your progress or ask for advice.
You can contact me @phallusbro on twitter.
Voting lasts for one week after the end of the jam. Voting is open to the public.
(If you're working in a team, you can add members by editing the game, clicking More > Admins at the top, adding them as an admin, and clicking the checkbox to show them as a collaborator. This also lets them list the game on their own Itch profile.)
Please take some time to play other entries! Let the authors know what you think and maybe leave them some constructive feedback!
Dont worry! Use this as an oportunity to try something new. Try to make a complete and finished project rather than a polished one.
You can ask for help (or teammates!) on Discord, and/or try one of the following:
bitsy - Low-res pixel art game editor, little to no programming.
GBStudio - Gameboy inspired game editor, drag-and-drop.
Twine - Text based choose-your-own-adventure edior with simple links between pages, often has no artwork though you can certainly add some, and do all manner of other shenanigans if you're dedicated enough. It's ultimately just HTML.
Flick - Art-based simple alternative to Twine where the player makes choices by clicking on particular colors in an image. No tablet support as far as I know.
Inform 7 - English-like programming language for making old-school text adventures. There is programming but it is easy enough to pick up and the documentation is very beginner friendly.
Fungus - Unity tool that makes gamedeving easier for beginners
If you're a programmer and have just never tried making a game, you could try LรVE ,the PICO-8 (a retro-styled "fantasy console"), Godot (an integrated Unity-style editor, totally open source), or of course Unity.
Other lists of possible game-making tools for beginners:
Q: I don't know what kind of game to make!
A: Pick something that appeals to your own horny brain - and then make a game about it! The possibilities are endless, but chances are whatever will appeal to you will end up appealing to others. So don't worry too much!
Q: Can I start early?
A: Please try to keep all the major game production stuff during November. Concepting and such before that is fine!
