this was pretty fun and I like the whole design of the game
Thanks man, I'm glad the idea worked out overall.
I found it pretty difficult to get my units to kill any rats. Timing always seemed to be off. Cute game and I like the idea but I personally found it a bit frustrating.
Thank you for the criticism, I was planning on having a global timer measured in "steps" but didn't have enough time to play with the design.
The core idea has room for different tactics. UI would benefit from informing about the directions where units hit.
It is something that I am definitely planning on adding if I make a major patch to the game post jam. So far there is a bug fix one lined up for once the jam ends.

I was surprised that somebody suffered through the UI in its broken state. Thank you man. A patch with a fix and slight rebalance will be going up once the jam is over.
