A downloadable game for Windows.
A decent slender inspired game with good visuals, the current demo that i am reviewing still has some known issues so until those(or atleast the sound) is fixed i cant rate this higher than 3 stars but ill come back to it if it ever gets updated and likely rate it higher.
Likes:
-Monster was very cool i liked its bright eyes and lanky silhoutte. altough it seems too be aquatic themed like an anglerfish but the environment is a forest so i dont really get that but hey it still looks cool so who cares yknow.
-General artstyle was pretty good.
-Gameplay was simple but solid.
Neutrals:
-Story is interesting but needs a bit extra, maybe an intro cutscene? Something to just help understand the characters.
-I got lost a lot in the map which actually isnt a bad thing as like with slender thats a part of its charm, however unlike slender all the locations where the lantern can spawn lack a certain iconography which makes navigating feel more frustrating as i only know wether i collected the lantern in a location once i walk into it where as in slender i would be like: oh hey thats the big tree, i already collected the note there i dont need to check it, or those are the fuel tanks i havent checked those yet! I feel putting a few notable props in each of the sites would really help.
Dislikes:
-No sound but the devs already know that one xD
-movement felt boring. a small headbop too indicate movement would add alot methinks.
