Lovely little platformer, the graphics are very nice but the game isn't fun. Even for how short it is it's annoyed me in many ways, the checkpoint right by the cliff isn't very fair, the pick a path would have made me quit if it wasn't obvious and the enemy placement lead to some frustration.

Decent game but could have been better.

Thank you for your comment. It really bothers me that I didn't make the game a little longer and add puzzle elements that was planned, but I don't agree with the enemy positioning part I think this is the most interesting part of the game and about the respawn right on the cliff really not it was a good decision i remember putting it there for testing purposes but i forgot to take it off. I think this game is more of a prototype as I was learning while developing it.

Well made little classic plateformer ! GG. But I hope you didn't fall asleep in class because of the jam ;-)

Developer

Thanks for your comment. Don't worry, on that specific day I drank 1 liter of coffee while I was at school :)

Very nice! Cute robots!
Some little bug when you dying while jumping and then you falling under the floor, not forget to reset vertical speed after resurrect.

Developer

Thank you for your comment. I was aware of this bug, but I didn't think anyone would discover it. The solution is as simple as what you said, it was an oversight on my part to forget to set the Y-speed to zero.

A nice little platformer. I hope the next year you can join the game jam earlier so no need to staying awake until 4 A.M.

How you know their time zone?
Update: Ok, now I know!

Thanks for your comment. I went to school dying of sleep that day 😅

Thanks for your comment. Well, there is no way to get to this specific area. I would have liked to have made three paths that the player could choose where at the end of each path there would be a kind of button that would turn off one of the lasers, after the player turned off all the lasers that path would be accessible, having the end of the game there. I intend to continue this project someday I think with a "right polish" and "puzle elements" this game could become fun.

Even though the game was short, there were a lot of nice things. The frequent spawn points was great; it allowed you to make the game a bit like a "rage-game", but without having the player restart too far back. Really like the little robot, very cute!

I managed to reach the end; this is a very solid foundation for a platformer game.

Thanks for your comment. I understand that the game is very short, I would like to have more development time but I ended up discovering this game jam a little late besides being my first, I intend to continue this project in the not too distant future by adding puzzle elements.
