Did you work in a team?
Three.
PhuriousPhoenix & SgtCarbine, animated, programmed the game with hardly any knowledge of using animation and game editing softwares. We learned as we made a little bit each day.
Mr. Starblind composed all but one of the soundtracks, mixing rock and 8-bit music.
Additional song by BiTiDuck
It was fun in the beginning, but stressful near the end when fixing bugs and glitches.
Was the resolution a challenge?
It was quite a hassle to make the animated conditions work, but we managed on simple solutions and tricks.
What did you learn?
Designing for sure. We hope to make a full game when the opportunity arises.

Bloody good fun. It's not 64x64 and the controls could do with work, but the concept is top notch and it looks and sounds great.
Thank you for the feedback. We're trying to fix a lot of parts including size, gameplay and reconstructing the third level and expand it.
Although game play isn't that complicated or well... The story. Like. The plot and the way it is being built by these small cut scenes is astonishing. I laughed. I really did.
The aim now is to remake Level 3 and improve gameplay through player and enemy interaction. Glad you found the cutscenes funny.
I loved the little cutscenes in this! & the gameplay was pretty good too! I'll echo what others said about the resolution, but well done!
Thank you for the feedback. Glad you enjoyed it.
I love the gameplay and cinematics, though the pixelart could use some work as some arent scaled perfectly and become blurry. Overall really good! :)
We submitted to LowRezJam so some or most have to be low rez. Thank you for the feedback.
I love the cinematics. Lots of effort was put into them. I would suggest some more sounds to indicate that the player is taking damage, because it's a big hard to tell. The game also didn't really fit the 64x64 pixel requirement for this jam, however the textures and sprites were pretty low res, and that means you were in the spirit of things. Good work.
Thanks for the feedback and for mentioning it was a 64x64 resolution requirement, which I should have known as I already was following the other instructions. Will definitely update, fix & add in the near future.
