Was the resolution a challenge?
to be honest, the low resolution was not that problematic at all! the main "face" of my game didn't really include text at all... i only added it last minute for the menu but that's about it. i had all the space i needed
What did you learn?
yea! this was my first time trying out terrain generation and rendering it in a pseudo-3d fashion!

Impressive tech demo! It really felt like I was looking at 3D geometry being rendered on a Super Nintendo.

it's not much of a game, but I'm always astonished when people managed to render crazy stuff in pico-8!! I love the fake 3d effect!!
if this game had some ambience music and some interesting things to find around the world I'd definitely play it a whole bunch!
