Themes
Unconventional Weapon - engine exhaust is used to fight the enemies, which is unconventional both theme-wise and gameplay-wise.

No engines, only C (compiled to WebAssembly using Emscripten), Audacity for simple sound effects, GuitarPro 5 for music.

Lessons
Just some general experience that is hard to put in words.

This is such a cool idea! I don’t know if it’s just me, but pressing up and down moves the player and scrolls the page, so I got a headache after a little while – but I love this idea!

Thank you for playing and the review!

Scrolling happens regardless of the player movement. The player moves relative to the screen, while the background is purely decorative.

Just played StarCube! I love the way how you kill enemy's in this its super fun yet challenging. I would have liked the to less of an infinite stroller and more of a big open room cause a lot of the times the game felt very cramped and small being stuck in that small box. Awesome job!

Thank you for playing and the suggestion! :) I will consider making a sequel which would be more open. :)
