Thanks! I've noticed that it tends to really blur a bit when you move quickly. As for effects, I haven't really experimented with them in Construct 2, but I will definitely look into how they could help add a certain style to the game.
Really fun! The checkerboard grid pattern does weird things at high speed -- if you're attached to it you might try adding blur as the marble really gets going. (or for maximum 64x64 authenticity, you would use a dither pattern...)

I don't think the text display fits the 64px grid, does it? Also, it would be useful if continuing to the next level and starting that level were controlled with a keypress you're already using, such as up arrow, as well as restarting after death, rather than having to wait or press R.
