Welcome to the annual LSDJAM event for 2023! This is the 4th LSDJAM!
Create an interactive experience based on dreams to celebrate the release of LSD: Dream Emulator.
「LSDドリームエミュレータ」の24周年を祝う、夢にベースしたインタラクティブなエクスペリエンスを創造するゲームを作ろう！
The 22nd of October 1998 marked the release of LSD: Dream Emulator, the cult-classic PS1 game.
1998年10月22日は、プレイステーションのカルト作品「LSDドリームエミュレータ」の発売を示す。
LSD is an exploration game where the player explores surreal dreamscapes without any objectives. The dreams in the game are based on a dream diary that was kept for ten years. Originally created by Japanese artist Osamu Sato, the game was intended to be unlike any other game available at the time.
目標もなくて、「LSD」というゲームは、プレイヤーにオープンワールドの超現実的な夢の風景を探検する体験を送るゲームである。あのゲームに入っている夢は、ある人の10年間ちゃんと書いていた夢日記にベースして、実現になった。画家・作曲家・グラフィックデザイナ佐藤理によって創造されて、どのゲームでも似ていないように志された。
In celebration of the original game's release, let's make some games in the same style to show our love for it!
「LSD」の発売記念を祝うため、あの唯一な奇ゲーへの愛を込めて、同じモチーフにするゲームを作ろう！

Goal
Make a dream emulator.
ドリーム・エミュレータを作ること。What is a dream emulator? An interactive audiovisual experience that lets you explore a dream, or multiple dreams.
ドリーム・エミュレータって何？オーディオとビデオを込めて、夢を探検する体験をまとめるゲーム。Whose dreams am I emulating? Anyone's! You could do your own, a friend's, or perhaps what you imagine someone else's dreams are like!
誰の夢をエミュレートする？誰の夢でもいい！自分の夢、友達の夢、ゲームのために想像した夢でも大丈夫！
Guidelines
The game should be in some way based around dreams or dreaming.
夢や夢を見ることにベースするゲーム。Don't rush or stress yourself! The jam isn't judged, and the deadline is a soft deadline. I'll happily make late submission links for anyone that needs them. The only goals here are to celebrate LSD's release, and make something cool and interesting!
急がなくても大丈夫！このゲームジャムには審判、「勝ち」や「負け」はない。そして、締め切り日が過ぎたゲームの投稿はOK。締め切りが過ぎてもまだ時間が要る方に喜んで遅く受け取ります。このゲームジャムの第一は、「LSD」の記念を祝うことなので、面白いゲームを作ってください！You can work with as many people as you want. If you're looking for people to team up with then make a post in the community tab!
投稿のゲームは、一人で作った作品でも、チームで作った作品でもOK。もしチームを作りたい、入りたいなら、「Community」タブへ。You can use things created outside of the jam in your entry. However, the entry must have been worked on during the jam. You can't submit a previous project that you are doing no work on whatsoever.
他人が作ったデジタル・アセットを使ってもいい。If your game contains content of a sensitive nature, please make sure it has content warnings in places that are impossible to miss (the game page, the splash screen, etc).
もしもセンシティブな内容が入っていたなら、注意の画面か見落とせない注意の知らせも入れてください。（ダウンロードのページとか、ゲームの最初とか）You can make multiple entries if you want, but they have to be different games/experiences.
同じチームか同じゲームクリエイターからの二重投稿は大丈夫だけど、ちゃんとしている別の作品を願います。Your entry can be made in anything! You could make it in Godot, Game Maker, RenPy, whatever you'd like! As long as people can play it!
どのゲームエンジンでもOK。Godot、Game Maker、Renpyなど、何でもいい。プレイヤーが楽しめることが第一。
Tips
Try to be experimental, see if you can make something unlike anything else.
エクスペリメンタルで作ってみてください。他のゲームに似ていないよう、プレイヤーは新しい体験が出来るよう、何でもOK。Exploration is the name of the game, create interesting environments!
面白い探検のため、面白い環境やエリアを作ってみてください。If you can't think of any dream-like ideas, the LSD Revamped discord (https://discordapp.com/invite/NVmTEynCvZ) has a channel where people post their dreams (#dream-journal). It's also a great place to discuss the jam itself - we have a channel specifically for the jam (#lsdjam).
