If you love couch co-op, local multiplayer, or party games, this is the jam for you! This game jam is open to all skill levels. We encourage you to work with a team, but individual entries are excellent as well. The Jam begins! Submit  your game build by  (Nov. 7) to be judged by our team. Are you looking for a team? The top 5 games will be showcased at a special event in Utah, where influencers, gamers, and developers will come together to play and share your creations! It’s your chance to get your game in front of an audience passionate about multiplayer experiences, gain exposure, and see your game played live! 

The winning game will receive a $500 prize, along with exclusive content to help you promote your game to a wider audience. Rewards are USD.

Games must be local multiplayer! This jam isn’t about creating the fanciest game—it’s about building something that captures attention and gets people engaged. Simple, fun, and addictive games will shine here! All criteria will be evaluated by the Madder team on a 1-10 scale.

Other important notes

• Unity-built games are strongly preferred in scoring
• Games should have a clear start and finish
• Must be submitted as a WebGL
• Provide a brief description of your game, including controls and the number of supported players

Integrating to Madder is much easier with Unity than other engines. That being said, we can still work with games build on other engines. To compensate this, Unity games will receive +5 points (10%) boost in scoring. If you are using other engines you can still win.

• Be Respectful: Treat all participants with respect and kindness. Toxic behavior will not be tolerated.

• Submission Format: Your game must be submitted in WebGL format; Unity-built games are strongly preferred. The game should be a local multiplayer game. 
• Licensing for Assets: Ensure you have the proper commercial licenses for any third-party assets you use (art, music, code, etc.).
• Content Restrictions:
  • No AI-generated art.
  • No pornographic content or nudity.
  • No illicit drug references or offensive material.
  • No vulgar language.
• Fun Over Perfection: Focus on making something fun and engaging rather than aiming for perfection.
