How does your game fit the Magical Girl Genre?
Our game fits the magical girl genre as it depicts a group of girls who gain magical powers from the leaves of a special tree. For example, Clover gains the abilities to summon magical instruments which she can use to apply status effects to allies and enemies.

Which theme(s) do you pick?
1. Beloved Princess 2. Thousand Leaves

How does your game fit those theme(s)?
The main goal of our game is to fight off a fungal infection spreading throughout the magical cherry blossom tree. The falling leaves from the tree are what gives magical powers to our main characters and the main villain. Our character Princess Blossom also serves as the living embodiment of the blossom tree, calling to our magical girls to save her.

If you follow any of the optional challenges, elaborate as you like.

Everything looks and sounds adorable so far, but once I get passed the narrative illustrations, where the girl and marching characters pop up, I cannot seem to do or interact with anything. I tried pressing a bunch of buttons but couldn't get anything to happen. I was wondering if maybe there are some controls (keys) I should be pushing to progress? (I know this might be a bug, but thought I'd ask jic I was missing essential controls instead.)
