Welcome to the Meaningful RPG game jam!

You know those games; Omori, Undertale,  To the Moon. Games that defied the rules, while making you really, really sad. It's best to be depressed and crying over a good game, and I encourage you to try and give this experience to someone in a brand new way! Any game engine will be allowed, with minimum rules and themes. The only thing I ask is nothing too NSFW or adult, save a little room for nostalgia! 

So since its been a while since another one of these games has come out, make one!

Rules:

• Nothing aggressively NSFW
  • Sexual jokes and references are fine, but no nudity
• Please follow the theme and don't start before the jam does
• Pre-made assets are ok but you should  have the right to use them
• Teams of any size are good! 
• Feel free to submit to a different game jam so long as the theme is still followed

Theme

The theme is TEARS. Interpret it however you'd like! Get creative! But - maybe if it's an odd interpretation, offer an explanation in your game description for those who may not get it.
