By the end of 2025, I will have created 12 new games. Wanna tag along? Here's what you need to know.
Your goal is to make 12 games in 12 months. There are 12 emoji trios that act as optional themes to draw inspiration from for each of your games. You are welcome to see it as either one game per month, or twelve games per year.
Strict Rules & Leeway
- The entire development must start and end in 2025.
- Submitted projects must be games of some sort (e.g. board game, video game, TTRPG).
- Games can be submitted at any time during 2025. It's not one game per month, but really twelve games for the entire year.
- You can be alone or in a team of any size, and switch teams from a game to the next.
- No adult content.
Bonus Points
This jam is about creating games and showing what you can do.
Everything in this list is optional, but very cool:
- All audio and visual is made by you or your team. No external assets.
- No AI is used yo
- Submit 12 games.
- Follow a different theme out of the 12 for each game you submit.
- Video games are playable in the browser.
- Tabletop that need printing at least have a monochrome black & white printer ready PDF in Letter format (8.5''x11'').
- Challenge yourself into learning something new.
At the end of the day, it's still better to make a game without following that list than to make nothing.
