In this jam, you are challenged to make a mascot horror game about a movie theatre! This jam takes place from February 22, 2025, to March 31, 2025.

RULES:

Game must take place inside a theatre (lobby, concessions, auditoriums, etc.); no going out of it.

Game must have a retro ad at the beginning of the game advertising the theatre that the player is navigating in the game (think Poppy Playtime.)

Any game engine (Unreal, Unity) will do.

Game must be newly made.

Game must be in the horror genre but with little to no jumpscares.

You are allowed to release it as a demo; only rule is to label it as a demo in the game's title.

All assets must be created and/or grabbed from public domain websites. AI-generated assets will not be allowed.

Games that have themes like racism, sexism, homophobia, and the like will not be allowed.

Games that have sexual themes of any kind will not be allowed.

You're welcome to add chapters to it (can be in-game or separate games).
