Honestly, what a thrilling experience.
The spiral of emotions that we get to experience between the main characters is just such a marvel. I honestly think keeping this short was the correct move, it nails home that feeling of departure.
The art was lovely, and I relished in the designs of the characters and the CG's. Capturing a very real view of illness and parting in a respectful manner as well, I can really appreciate the care that went into them.
The music was a delight and fit the moods quite well, they all felt very much in tune with the CG and story being delivered.
I think my only critique is that the ending feels rushed, emotions are heightened and then pushed through-- but at the same time, that's natural. We try to get in everything before we depart.
