How does your game relate to the theme?
Bygone Stations feature a FLOW METER (holding right click), in which the player must continuously move. We decided on the definition of “continual movement” in the theme, leading to our gimmick. The player must “keep up with the flow” or else, she will suffer consequences. The player starts decaying when not moving, causing them to take more damage from enemies. In order to prevent the FLOW METER from decreasing, the player must always keep moving. The faster you move, the faster your flow meter increases.
The player can also enter FLOW MODE, in which the player slows down their heartbeat to perceive their surroundings better (slows down time while they remain unaffected), which decreases the FLOW MODE.
