I first learned how to program in middle school making games in Game Maker with my dad. Early Game Maker games have a unique aesthetic that I still like, where they combine premade assets with a mishmosh of art styles, and have gameplay similar to classic Flash web games. I tried to capture that aesthetic with this game. This was the first time I've really used Game Maker since middle school, and it is still a lot of fun to play around with.
