This Game Jam is an unranked Game Jam where you will have 1 month to create a game. You can use any engine you want. From RPG Maker to Unreal. It doesn't matter. There is a theme and 3 OPTIONAL challenges.

RULES:

- The theme of the jam must be incorporated in some way, shape, or form.

- No NSFW games. We appreciate your talent, but we want everyone to be able to enjoy this jam!

- Use whatever assets you want, however, if you did not make them: Give credit to the original creators.

- Your game must have been started on or after the start date of the jam. Games made before will be removed. Pre-planning is allowed.

- The game must not force the player to pay real money in any way, shape, or form. This is for fun, and everyone should be able to play.

THEME:

To allow for pre-planning and conceptualization, the theme of the jam will be "Forgotten Memories". The 3 optional challenges are as follows:

- Dual Timelines: The past determines the present. Include two different timelines that the player may play in. Solve puzzles and complete objectives by interacting with both the past and present!

- Burning Memories: The struggle to remember something that has been forgotten is very much intense. Include a minigame to recover your memories at key moments in the story, add other possible paths if the player fails.

- Procedural Generation: The mind is an unpredictable maze. Include procedurally generated elements, to make the game replayable and add some unpredictability. This can range from maps, to random events, to items, and anything in between!
