Have you ever gone to a restaurant or cafe
and been impressed by the menu's layout?
Now it is the time to use that inspiration in your own game.
If you're on the fence, or thinking that menus aren't a source of inspiration—Pinterest is a goldmine.

Art of the Menu
In terms of layout design, think about what makes a menu a success or a flop.
Jam Rules and Thoughts:
- This jam is for tabletop role-playing games (aka TTRPGs). Video games—while awesome—are not for this jam. Video game entries will be removed.
- Keep the game length to 1-3 pages. You can decide the dimensions of said page, but ideally, it would be a size the average home printer can handle.
- Content for the jam does not need to be a full-fledged game—supplementary content and adventures for existing TTRPGs are welcome.
- There is no overarching theme beyond taking inspiration from menu design. However, if you need a little more structure, the optional theme is edible.
- Paid games are fine, but please include at least 25 community copies for other jammers to enjoy.
- This jam is an excuse to consider layout design beyond TTRPGs.
- Folks of all levels of experience are encouraged to join.
- No transphobic, queerphobic, racist, ableist, sexist or xenophobic games, please and thank you.
