The topic for Mid-Jam 2020 is:

Welcome to our first game jam, which takes place around mid-summer time. The jam's theme will be decided by topic voting.

Rules

• You are allowed to use ALL game engines, libraries, programming languages etc...
• The game's assets should be your own work. If you really can't create the assets yourself, you can take assets from other persons as long as you have permission to use them and give proper credit.
• Most of the content in your game needs to be created during the jam, scripts that you already wrote are allowed.
• No NSFW content!
• Your game needs to be playable WITHOUT the need to install third-party software.
• It would be appreciated if your game will be released as open-source, but it doesn't need to be.
• Have fun ;)

• During 1st - 14th June you can submit a topic (see link above).
• During 15th - 18th June you can vote on submitted topics (same link above).
• On 19th June 00:00 CEST the voting results are shown publicly (same link above) and Mid-Jam 2020 begins.
• The topic for Mid-Jam 2020 will be the highest ranked topic, but you are allowed to switch to the second ranked topic if you have absolutely no idea what to do with the 1st topic.

Time Frame

• The Jam will take place from 19th June 00:00 CEST until 21st June 23:59 CEST (72 hours).
• After the Jam has finished, public voting on the games will be possible until 24th June 23:59.
