Semi-on-the-fly remarks:
- Cute 2D sticky boy on a 3D platform! I like the visuals.
- Controls are QWERTY-only instead of layout-independent (I have an AZERTY keyboard).
- Opening ‘Controls’ or ‘Credits’ while in game resets it; I would have guessed not.
- Possible bug: the dog can appear while in pause mode.
- Possible bug: I managed to fall (infinitely) (on the left).
- You can get multiple successive hits from a dog and lose several hearts almost instantly.
- I still cannot figure how to hit the boss…
- Oh, testing keys, I discover there is a hitting key after all: E! You should definitely say it in the controls (in game)!!
- I do not really understand how to hit the boss without getting hit; I sometimes manage it, but not always.
- Too hard for me to complete in time… I quit. ._.
- Could you please elaborate on what you mean by ‘complete properly’? Is there some kind of twisty concept, or do you just mean that you have to succeed? (I also get that the respawning dog is part of the loop.)
- I would also like to know what happens when you win! :)
Conclusion: I feel like the concept essentially amounts to a boss fight with patterns (the boss movement + the dog); I would have wished for a little stronger twist. As for the fight itself, I think two things would enhance it: clearer collision/hit management, and some randomness for more variety. And visually (and musically), the game is rather eye candy to my taste. :)
