@Hobcramwork Yeah probably should have had them look more like ninjas, I liked the bean look, it was cute but yes it is confusing.  How far can you punch?  For me my punches are pretty short range.  What was your high score?

Hi there, I enjoyed playing this game, once the game had fully loaded :p

Anyhow, the punching seems to be a little slow, and has a small reach. As Akusan said below, a clear sign that the enemies are going to throw daggers, as well as wearing attire that marks them as using throwing daggers, would help immensely in terms of knowing when to dodge their attacks.

Interesting entry you got here with backstory. Cute characters too with respect to limitation. Good job. When enemies attack, I would recommend telegraphing - meaning they will do some kind of animation or indicator prior to their attack behavior. You can see this in a lot of Castlevania games. Thanks for sharing!
