Mini jam is a 72 hour long, game development jam for independent game developers that occurs every two weeks.
You get the theme early so you can think of the perfect idea... and then have it teared to shreds by the limitation. This jam's theme is EXPLOSIONS. Remember, theme is purely inspirational. Feel free to interpret it however you want.
The limitations determine what you can and or must do with your game.
The limitation of Mini Jam 32 is: Destruction must be a core mechanic.
Destroying stuff is fun, nothing tells the player they have influence in a virtual world quite like blowing stuff up.
Definition of destruction
1 : the state or fact of being destroyed
Your game must feature destruction as a core mechanic. This means it must be integral to the experience, and not a background mechanic or visual flourish. Get creative and blow things up, tear stuff down, and otherwise destruct things in your world
