Nice art and music, perhaps add some sfx's as well. It's good that there are checkpoints, but there aren't enough. There should definitely be one in the area pictured below. Though, I don't know how to progress past this point anyway. The wall jumping was a bit difficult in general.
you can unlock the hook if you go left (there is a checkpoint there also) :)
