Shots some times don't work and i found out that you can skip the whole game by just going to the left every single stage and then holding right after you are off screen...

For some reason, most of my shots don't seem to actually fire anything (and by extension, I unfortunately could not play very much of the game). I might just be missing a mechanic, but it seemed random to me. The squishy floor and it's sound effects were a nice touch though.
