Fun game! I like the chess piece idea. It takes forever to get back to the beginning if you die though, perhaps that should be skippable? Also, there were a couple of bugs where I died even though I was standing on stuff. Also PLEASE add a way to exit the game. I had to use a second monitor and click off the screen to close it (unless there is a way and I was too dumb to figure it out, but I tried clicking escape and other stuff and it didn't work) (cntrl-alt-del also works obviously) . Other than that though great job! The art and music were pretty relaxing and nice.
