Mission PhantomGame is a first of it's kind collaborative operation between the Concordia Game Development club (CGD) and the IEEE Concordia organization!
From October 13th to October 20th, you and your fellow agents will be tasked with both making a game AND making a gamepad periphery for said game!

The judging and ranking of game submissions for this jam will be done by participants through this jam page! Participants will have up to a week after the competition (SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27th, 2024 @ 23h59) to play and judge the submissions made by other teams! It is expected that everyone who participates in this event will also participate in rating the submission of other teams.
The judging and ranking of the controller submission will be done in person by the CGD and IEEE Concordia staff on the final day of the competition (SUNDAY, OCTOBER 20th,2024 @ 19h00)! In order for your game submission to be played and judged by other participants after the competition, it is highly recommended that your game submission also be made playable with a keyboard and mouse!
Should you submit your controller and game early on the final day of the event, please feel free to contact the staff to ask if your controller can be judged before the deadline
Here is a list of Modifiers that teams may choose to include for their controller and/or game submissions! Teams may choose to include as many or as few of these modifiers as desired. Game submissions will be ranked and judged the same regardless how many or how few modifiers are included. Controller submissions that include more modifiers on the other hand will be ranked more generously!

Ergo Expert | Comfort matters for long gaming sessions. Ensure your controller takes into account the human factor (i.e. add rubberized grips, make sure the button layout is reachable, …) |
A/B/X/… why? | Use different distinguishable symbols to label your gamepad's inputs. Include these symbols within your game (control menu, tutorial, or otherwise) |
