Introducing Mix and Match

Welcome to the Mix and Match game jam. This is a regular game jam but with a twist, we mix two game genres. We roll two random genres and one dimension. You have two weeks and 5 days to create a game

Rules

Here are some of the rules for this jam:

• You can re-use art, sound, code, etc... from other games you created, but at least 75% of your jam game must be made within the jam period
• No cheating! Cheating will automatically get you disqualified
• You are allowed to collaborate with a team
• You can only submit one game
• Your jam game must be appropriate for ages 8+
• If one of the rolled genres is horror then your horror game should be mild
• Only use assets you own or have the rights to use

Judging

Judging will be based on the following things:

• Creativity
• Art
• Sound
• Quality
• Holiday Interpretation

Jam Encouragements

This game jam encourages you to make your own assets to increase your level of creativity and also enables you to follow certain rules, instructions, and designs. Remember these are encouragements, so you don't have to do them.
