Mobile Mania Game Jam

What is this jam about?

The MMGJ is a chance for developers who have always wanted to create a mobile game, transfer an old game to mobile, or even take a shot at mobile development to make a mobile game! I encourage everyone to publish their app under their own developer account but if you don't have a developer account I will personally upload the game with my own account (I can only do android sadly). If neither of those options works for you then please submit your game with the ability to be played through a browser or emulator.

Why 2 months?

I give 2 months' time because of how long verification and such things take when publishing an app. The first month is for development time and the second is for fixing bugs and getting your app store of choice to accept your app.

General Stuff

You are free to transfer a game you already made to mobile or start from scratch which is recommended. But you cannot just submit a mobile game you've already made. You can start work on your game before the jam starts you just can't submit it yet lol. Feel free to work with as many people as you want and submit as many games as you want. The game can be anything you want it to be just make sure to try and follow as close as possible to the 50MB challenge.

Rules: 

• The game cannot contain forced advertisements or other such monetization
• If your game consists of violent or sexual themes you must make sure to put a clear warning in both the app itself and also on the upload page
• All game assets must be either owned by you or you have permission to use them
• Your game must be a game you transferred to mobile or made from scratch
• There must be a web version for your game.

Rating

Public Ranking - Open to everyone

• Design - How well is the game designed? 
• Feel - Does the game feel good to play?
• Look - Does the game's art look good?
• Music & SFX - How well does the game's music and sound effects fit?

Private Rating - Rated by Judges only

• Bonus Points - Based on the judge's opinion of the game. What extra features did it have? Potential? Easter eggs? etc
• Challenge - Did they follow the challenge

Prizes:

A winner can trade their prize with another winner if they are of higher rank!

1st place: $25... Just so happens to be the cost to become an android developer ;)

2nd place: Random Steam Key (might come with other stuff idk yet)
