Simple but well made game with great graphics! I included it in my Movie Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to check it out! :)
What made it not done? It was a fun game, I like the hit counter and the effects. the art was well drawn also! Throw some sound and I think you would be GTG
That's such a great choice of scene for a game. The stretchy walls (for want of a better term) were really cool, and the gameplay pretty addictive. Would've been nice to have a variety of 'shoot' poses chosen based on your timing/position relative to the ball, but I realize you didn't have much time with your studies. Great work!
This a perfect example of a "just one more go" game. Managed to make score 38 after several attempts. Love how the screen zooms and stretches as the ball gets higher and higher and it never feels unfair when you get game over as the ball bounces exactly as you'd expect it to. Only thing I felt was missing was some music, but then looking at the film its based on maybe that was deliberate? Great fun game though, well done.
Glad you enjoyed it ^^
Yes I wanted to put some old music but I didn't manage to make it on time ><, maybe I'll update it later on !
I like the idea of putting ball-and-paddle gameplay together with Charlie Chaplin. Classic meets classic.
Thank you for your feedback !
haha nice man! Didn't knew the movie, so bizarre!
Thx ! You should watch it it's a great film ^^
