THEME:

• All submissions should attempt to interpret the theme of magic however it is relevant to the game.

RESTRICTION:

• Currency & Upgrades
• All submissions should attempt to implement a currency and upgrade system.

WHAT: 

• The MSU Texas ACM Game Jam is open to all students and faculty  as well as  high school students in the greater wichita falls area. (High school students wishing to compete onsite must have a signed parental release form.)
• On friday, 03/25/2022, there will be two brief tutorials covering easy to use systems for making a game.
• Food, snacks, and drinks will be provided for all who compete onsite.

WHERE:

• The onsite competition location is Bolin Hall at MSU in rooms 101 and 103.

WHEN: 

• March 25 @ 5pm - March 27 @ 12pm

RULES:

• No Inappropriate content, if you need to ask it is probably not allowed. 
• No work should be done before the event starts.
• All work must be your own or legal assets.

SUBMISSION FORMAT:

Submissions will be through itch.io, you'll need to create an account to upload your submission. If it's a web app, it can be played directly in the browser. Otherwise, you'll need to provide specific instructions on how to run your game so it can be judged fairly.

PRIZES: 

GameJam Champion - For the best overall Game Jam project.

The Designer Award - For the best presentation elements in a Game Jam project. (art, sound, writing, etc)

The Engineer Award - For the best code and general technical ability found in a Game Jam project.

The Student Award - For one amateur game maker who demonstrated impressive growth and learning at the Game Jam.
